Apple CarPlay and Android Auto activation unit for Mercedes-Benz vehicles equipped with the NTG 5.5 system.

The ZZO-MB-CP activates the native CarPlay and Android Auto functions on your factory radio via the OBD port. It requires no permanent installation, wire cutting or coding, and once activation is complete the unit can be disconnected from the vehicle.

NOTE: Only compatible with vehicles equipped with the NTG 5.5 system. Please confirm your vehicle's system version before purchasing.

Activation Procedure

  1. Turn on the ignition;
  2. Connect the unit to the OBD port. The LED will blink a few times; wait until the LED is constantly GREEN;
  3. The radio will restart automatically;
  4. Wait for the radio to fully initialise;
  5. Disconnect the unit from the OBD port;
  6. Check that CarPlay / Android Auto now appears in the radio menu.

REACTIVATION: If you need to reactivate CarPlay / Android Auto at any point, simply reconnect the unit to the OBD port and repeat the procedure.
